Feb 13, 0 18, YOu can install windows 7 with mb ram but m8 dont do it , even netbooks with 1 gb ram and windows 7 starter are slow as hell despite the slow hdd. So i recommend getting windows xp or an linux version with low ram consumption.

Commercial servers, workstations, and other high-end PCs may have more than one physical processor. Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate allow for two physical processors, providing the best performance on these computers.

Was this information helpful? Yes No. Thank you! Any more feedback? If you have RAM on your computer still you can install windows 7 and you can run windows 7 on your computer without any problem. Try windows 7 because it has good interface and for a laptop having RAM,it pretty much works fine.

Older Windows versions will do the job with less than that, but as soon as you execute demanding applications or more than one application at a time, anything below MB will likely translate into performance bottlenecks. If you have only 2 GB Ram, you could get by if you use an old-style single process bit browser. With 2GB you should be able to do pretty much everything with your computer that a computer is capable of doing, such as gaming, image and video editing, running suites like Microsoft Office, and having a dozen or so browser tabs open all become possible.
